    Dr. Ballou believes strongly that every client and pet deserves the very best medicine and service. She is available to answer your questions and help you make decisions about your pets' care. . Dr. Ballou has been working in Northern Virginia since 2003 and here at VCA Healthy PAWS since 2010. She currently has two dogs and one husband. Her favorite areas of interest are abdominal ultrasound and animal behavior. Dr Ballou spends a lot of her free time outside running and mountain bike riding.

    Dr. Chupeco grew up in the Northern Virginia area, but put on his travelling shoes after High School with a penchant for studying abroad in small island nations. He first obtained his undergraduate degree in Physiology from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland (the birthplace of golf) and later on received his veterinary degree from the University of the Philippines (the birthplace of Manny Pacquiao). Dr. Chupeco was a long ago client of VCA Healthy Paws and happily started working here in 2013. Dr. Chupeco enjoys reading, travelling, and food.
